Sugar Snap Peas with Toasted Sesame Seeds
[Linda's note: to toast the seeds, just put them in a pan over medium heat and toss a bit until they become fragrant and very lightly brown.] Ingredients 1 pound sugar snap peas, stringed 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds 1 teaspoon oriental sesame oil Procedure 1. Steam sugar snap peas until crisp-tender, about 3 minutes. Transfer to bowl. Toss with seeds and oil. Season with salt. Serves 6. From Bon Appetit, April 2000. Last updated: June 2, 2007
